29-Year-Old lady fatally run over by cement truck living her lifeless. A tragic accident on the Apowa–Agona Nkwanta Highway has claimed the life of a 29-year-old woman, identified as Esther Amoah, an insurance agent, on Saturday.
According to eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred shortly after Esther had visited her younger brother, a student at St. Mary’s Boys Senior High School in Apowa.
She was reportedly attempting to cross the busy highway near the school entrance when she was struck and run over by a speeding Benz truck loaded with cement.

The truck, bearing registration number AS 630 P, fatally crushed the victim, killing her instantly. Eyewitness Isaac Conduah, who spoke on Connect FM’s Omanbapa Morning Show, recounted that Esther became confused while crossing the road due to two approaching vehicles from opposite directions.
“She was still holding a food flask after visiting her brother. It was clear she had just brought him food,” Conduah said. “After the accident, we checked her bag and found ID cards and contact numbers, which helped us reach her family.”
The body has since been conveyed by the police while the truck driver is currently in custody assisting with ongoing investigations.
Authorities are urging road users, especially pedestrians, to exercise caution when navigating busy roads.
