Upon arriving at the scene, the assemblyman met an angry group of residents who had already apprehended the suspect.

Witnesses told him that the man was found scooping sand from a freshly dug grave, an act that immediately raised alarm and suspicion about his motives.

The residents quickly intervened to prevent further disturbance of the burial site.

The situation was tense, as community members expressed outrage over what they described as a highly disrespectful and disturbing act, given the cultural and spiritual significance attached to burial grounds in the area.

The assemblyman reportedly stepped in to calm the crowd and prevent the suspect from being assaulted.

The suspect was later handed over to the police for further investigation. Law enforcement officials are expected to determine his motive, including whether the act was linked to ritual practices, theft, or other criminal intentions.
