A document from the Probate and Administration Division of the High Court of Justice in Accra indicates that no Last Will and Testament has been deposited in the court registry for the late Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu.

The search, conducted under reference Accra–AD 2026, was formally requested to determine whether the celebrated musician had lodged a will with the High Court prior to his passing.

According to the endorsed response from the registry, there is “No Record” of any such document on file.

Consequently, details relating to the date of deposit, the person who submitted the will, or the lawyer who may have prepared it were marked as not applicable.

The search was dated January 16, 2026, at Jan Chambers in Accra and officially endorsed by the Registrar of the Probate and Administration Division on January 19, 2026.

The endorsement confirms that, as of that date, the court had no registered will for the deceased artist.

This development has significant implications for the administration of Daddy Lumba’s estate.

In the absence of a registered will, the distribution of his assets is likely to proceed under Ghana’s intestate succession laws, subject to any valid will that may surface outside the court registry.
