A young woman has shared a painful account of a relationship she entered at the age of 19, highlighting the emotional and psychological toll of misplaced trust.
According to her, her then-boyfriend claimed his phone was damaged, prompting her to give him hers.
This left her without a phone of her own. Whenever she needed to make calls, she relied on friends’ phones, unaware that her boyfriend had secretly blocked her SIM card.
As a result, she believed her phone had been stolen and endured emotional distress when her calls to him went unanswered.
Unbeknownst to her, the man was in another relationship.
Worse still, he allegedly told his actual girlfriend that the young woman was forcing herself on him, misrepresenting the situation to protect his deception.
The truth came to light in a shocking manner when she later saw her own phone in the hands of the other woman, who turned out to be her course mate.
