Prophet Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun has publicly retracted and apologized for prophetic declarations he made regarding the presidential primaries of the New Patriotic Party.
In a statement, the prophet acknowledged that through books, videos, and media interviews, he declared that Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong would emerge as the party’s flagbearer—an outcome that did not materialize.
He admitted the prophecy was wrong, accepted full responsibility, and expressed deep regret for the emotional, spiritual, and political impact his words had on those who trusted them.
He offered an unreserved apology to supporters and believers who made decisions based on his declaration, stressing that he does not blame anyone or shift responsibility.
According to him, the incident has prompted serious reflection and a renewed commitment to accountability, discernment, integrity, and truth in communicating prophetic revelations.
Prophet Nelson-Eshun also apologized to believers who may have been troubled in their faith as a result of his actions and thanked those who corrected him in love and continue to pray for him.
