A young man was arrested yesterday after attempting to steal a vehicle in an incident that unfolded swiftly and dramatically.
According to eyewitness accounts, the suspect gained unauthorized access to the car and attempted to flee the scene immediately after the act.
His escape, however, was short-lived. A group of alert motorbike riders who witnessed the incident gave chase, coordinating their pursuit through nearby streets.

The pressure from the pursuit forced the suspect to lose control of the vehicle, resulting in a crash that brought his escape to an abrupt end.
He was apprehended at the scene without further incident and later handed over to the authorities.
During preliminary questioning, the suspect admitted to attempting the theft but claimed he could not explain what compelled him to commit the act.
He reportedly expressed confusion over his actions, stating that he acted impulsively and without prior planning.
Law enforcement officials have since launched a full investigation into the incident to establish the circumstances surrounding the attempted theft and to assess any damage caused during the chase and crash.
The suspect remains in custody and is expected to be processed in accordance with the law.
