A tragic road accident has occurred at Apeguso, where a Sprinter bus veered off the road and crashed into a tree, resulting in the death of at least one person and leaving several others critically injured.
According to preliminary information, the impact of the crash was severe, causing extensive damage to the vehicle and trapping some passengers inside.
Emergency responders arrived promptly to manage the situation and provide urgent assistance to the victims.

Personnel from the Ghana Police Service were among the first responders at the scene.
The police coordinated rescue efforts, ensured traffic control to prevent further incidents, and supervised the evacuation of the injured to the nearest hospital for medical treatment.
The body of the deceased was also conveyed to the hospital morgue for preservation and further procedures.
Authorities have begun investigations to determine the cause of the accident, including possible factors such as speeding, mechanical failure, or road conditions.
