A dramatic pursuit unfolded on the Prampram–Ashaiman corridor when a group of okada riders launched a high-speed chase after two men suspected of stealing goats.
Eyewitnesses said the suspects fled the scene in a red Nissan Rogue, registration number GX 589-25, shortly after the alleged theft in Prampram.
Alerted by residents, several commercial motorcyclists took up the chase, maintaining close pursuit as the vehicle sped through adjoining communities.

The chase reportedly continued without interruption until the suspects reached the Ashaiman Police barrier.
Upon encountering the security checkpoint, the driver pulled over and voluntarily surrendered to officers on duty, bringing the pursuit to an end.
Police immediately took the suspects into custody and secured the vehicle for further investigation.
The stolen animals were also recovered, according to witnesses at the scene.
Authorities have commended members of the public for their vigilance but cautioned against taking the law into their own hands.
