Two individuals have been arrested for unlawfully entering the Osu Cemetery and digging a grave, amid growing concerns over illegal exhumations and the unauthorized sale of burial spaces at the historic burial ground.
According to sources familiar with the incident, the suspects were apprehended after cemetery authorities and security personnel detected suspicious activity within the cemetery.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the individuals had no official authorization to access the site or undertake any burial-related work.
