A young teacher in Ashaiman has reportedly died by suicide following the breakdown of a relationship he had heavily invested in financially and emotionally.
According to reports, the deceased took out a loan to establish a cosmetics shop for his girlfriend as part of efforts to support her financially.
In a further commitment to her future, he allegedly secured another loan to sponsor her relocation to Canada in pursuit of better opportunities.

Sources indicate that tensions arose prior to her departure when she declined to hand over the keys to the cosmetics shop to him, instead entrusting them to her mother.
The development reportedly strained the relationship, which later ended after she arrived abroad.
