The Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team (C.V.E.T) has arrested three Nigerian nationals in connection with suspected human trafficking activities during an intelligence-led operation at Pokuase-Afiaman in the Greater Accra Region.
The suspects, identified as Chidiebere Pascal, Sunday James, and Femi Adebayor, were apprehended following a coordinated raid aimed at dismantling an alleged trafficking network operating within the area.
During the operation, authorities rescued 19 individuals believed to be victims of human trafficking.

Preliminary findings indicate that the victims were allegedly lured under false pretences, with promises of employment and better living opportunities.
Investigators are working to determine the full scope of the operation, including possible links to cross-border trafficking networks.
Officials say the rescued individuals are currently receiving support services, including medical attention, counselling, and temporary shelter, while statements are being taken to assist ongoing investigations.
The suspects remain in custody and are expected to face charges in accordance with Ghana’s human trafficking and organized crime laws.
Authorities have reiterated their commitment to intensifying surveillance and enforcement efforts to combat trafficking and protect vulnerable persons.
