A Nigerian woman has shared an emotional account detailing the breakdown of her brother’s marriage, describing a relationship that began with long-distance romance but ended in disappointment.
According to her narrative, her brother returned from abroad to marry a woman he had been communicating with by phone for six months. Upon meeting in person, he reportedly developed strong feelings for her, and the two proceeded with marriage.
The woman had a child from a previous relationship, a circumstance the man allegedly accepted without hesitation.
After the wedding, plans were made for the wife to relocate abroad.
However, due to incomplete travel documentation, she remained in Owerri while her husband eventually returned overseas.
During that period, he is said to have supported her financially, including providing for her child.
The situation reportedly deteriorated when the husband learned that his wife had resumed contact with a former boyfriend from her secondary school days. According to the account, the revelation came through mutual acquaintances. When confronted, the wife allegedly admitted to maintaining the relationship.
The husband subsequently ended the marriage, instructing her to vacate their residence before his return.
