A young woman has generated widespread reactions online after recounting an experience from a past relationship that she now describes as humiliating.
In a candid narration, she explained that while dating her former boyfriend, she often washed his clothes as an act of love and commitment.
During those moments, she said he would record videos of her packing or preparing the laundry.

At the time, she believed he was capturing affectionate memories and would happily pose, thinking she was being admired.
However, she later discovered that he allegedly posted the videos on his WhatsApp status while restricting her from viewing them.
According to her, the captions portrayed her as a domestic helper rather than a partner, suggesting other men should “find a maid” to ease their girlfriends’ burden. The posts reportedly framed her efforts as proof that “relationship is not that hard.”
Reflecting on the experience, she said she now realizes she misinterpreted the situation, describing it as a lesson in self-awareness and boundaries.
Her story has sparked debate about emotional manipulation, respect in relationships, and the misuse of social media to demean partners.
