Two suspects, both believed to be under the age of 20, are currently in police custody following a failed robbery attempt at Mile 7 involving a military officer.
According to preliminary information, the suspects allegedly approached the officer, who was not in uniform at the time, and demanded that he surrender his belongings.
The pair reportedly brandished what appeared to be a firearm in an attempt to intimidate him.

However, the officer quickly realised that the weapon being pointed at him was a toy gun and not a real firearm.
Seizing the opportunity, he subdued the suspects and called on nearby residents for assistance.
Eyewitnesses say the officer restrained the two individuals until community members arrived at the scene. The suspects were subsequently handed over to the police for further investigation.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of the suspects, but investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident and whether the pair may be linked to other criminal activities in the area.
The incident has sparked renewed discussions about youth involvement in crime and the dangers associated with replica weapons, which can easily escalate situations and lead to serious consequences.
