The court heard that the crimes, which occurred over a period of time, created widespread fear and anxiety among residents of the affected communities. Investigations by law enforcement authorities eventually led to Abdulai’s arrest and prosecution.

During the trial, prosecutors presented evidence linking the accused to the murders, leading the court to conclude that he was responsible for the killings.

After reviewing the case, the High Court delivered a life sentence with hard labour, the maximum punishment under the circumstances.

The ruling has been welcomed by many residents who had long awaited justice for the victims and their families.

Community members described the judgment as a significant step toward restoring a sense of safety and closure in the areas affected by the crimes.
