Obuasi Tragedy: ‘She Was Shot Three Times’ by the Boyfriend

A young woman identified as Abena, popularly known on TikTok as “Abena Biggest,” has reportedly been shot and killed by her boyfriend, Sylvester, also known as Nana Yaw, in Obuasi.

The incident is believed to have occurred following a heated dispute related to Sylvester’s persistent use of marijuana.

According to sources close to the couple, the 27-year-old suspect allegedly shot Abena three times after she threatened to end their relationship due to his excessive smoking.

Reports indicate that Abena had expressed concern about the health effects of continuously being exposed to marijuana smoke, stating that it was negatively affecting her well-being.

In an attempt to address the issue, she reportedly gave her boyfriend an ultimatum to either quit smoking or risk losing the relationship.

Sylvester, in response, is said to have promised to stop, but requested money from Abena to purchase what he referred to as his “last roll of weed.” When Abena refused, the argument escalated, ultimately leading to the fatal shooting.
