Two students from Berekum Senior High School have been arrested after allegedly being caught performing ritual activities on campus during the night.
The incident reportedly occurred at midnight when some teachers on campus observed suspicious movement and proceeded to investigate.
Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered the students engaged in what appeared to be ritual practices involving a live fowl, eggs, and kola nuts items traditionally associated with spiritual or ritualistic acts.

The students were immediately apprehended and handed over to the Berekum Police.
They are currently in police custody assisting with investigations.
Authorities have yet to determine the exact motive behind the act, but the school administration has assured parents and the general public that measures are being taken to maintain safety and discipline on campus.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Education Service and law enforcement agencies are expected to collaborate on further inquiries into the matter, including the possible involvement of other individuals and the source of the ritual materials.
The incident has sparked concerns among residents and stakeholders about growing reports of occult practices in schools and the need for intensified education on discipline and spirituality.
