A mini bus with registration number GG-2847-22, traveling from Agona Swedru to Winneba, was involved in a serious road accident at Low Cost Junction, resulting in multiple injuries.
Eyewitness Mr. Andrews reported that the incident occurred when a taxi exiting Trauma Road unexpectedly crossed the path of the oncoming mini bus.
In an effort to avoid a head-on collision, the mini bus driver swerved and ended up crashing into a roadside gutter.
The vehicle was reportedly carrying passengers who had earlier attended a graduation ceremony at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW).

Over eight individuals sustained various degrees of injury and were promptly rushed to the Trauma and Specialist Hospital for medical attention.
Medical staff at the hospital are currently attending to the victims.
Authorities are yet to provide further details regarding the condition of the injured or whether any official investigation has been launched.
