According to eyewitness reports, the truck, which appeared to be carrying liquid cargo, lost balance and flipped onto its side while navigating a narrow section of the road.

The vehicle landed directly on two female vendors who were selling tomatoes by the roadside.

Baskets of tomatoes were scattered across the scene, underscoring the tragic loss of life and livelihood.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as heartbreaking, with bystanders rushing to the location in an attempt to assist.

Unfortunately, the two women were pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of the impact.

Local authorities and emergency personnel were seen arriving shortly after to assess the situation and manage the crowd.

The cause of the accident is yet to be officially confirmed, though residents suspect brake failure or over-speeding as likely factors.

The tragic incident has raised fresh concerns about road safety in market areas and the dangers posed by large vehicles operating without proper traffic regulation in densely populated zones.
