According to police reports, the suspect admitted to attacking Jeff after he allegedly failed to honour a promise of N2 million (approximately GHC15,764.00).
The woman claims the money was promised to her by one of Jeff’s friends, following multiple sexual encounters she had with Jeff under a “hook-up” arrangement.
She further explained that she agreed to the arrangement due to urgent financial needs, particularly to support her sister, who is seriously ill.
After the encounters, however, she stated that neither Jeff nor his friend fulfilled the promise, leading to frustration, confrontation, and eventually the stabbing.
Jeff sustained injuries from the attack and is currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital. Authorities have confirmed that he is in stable condition.
The woman has been arrested and is assisting the police with investigations. Law enforcement officials have condemned the act and urged the public to seek lawful means of resolving grievances rather than resorting to violence.
