I will like to Marry Odo Broni, I Admire Her – Hon Kojo Adu Asare, Former Adenta MP

Former Member of Parliament for Adenta, Kojo Adu Asare, has publicly declared his admiration for Priscilla Ofori Atta, widely known as Odo Broni — the second wife of the late Ghanaian highlife legend, Daddy Lumba.

The former legislator made his sentiments known during an interview on Asempa FM on December 17, 2025.

Adu Asare revealed that he is currently unmarried and would be open to pursuing a romantic relationship with Odo Broni after she completes the traditional one-year widowhood rites.

According to him, Odo Broni is not only physically beautiful but also possesses a calm and gentle personality that he finds deeply appealing.

He stated, “Odo Broni is an exceptionally beautiful woman. I admire her, especially her calm and gentle nature. I feel drawn to her and would like to pursue a meaningful relationship with her after she completes her widowhood rites. It’s not about marrying her to have children together; rather, I want to help raise her six children and also preserve Daddy Lumba’s legacy.”

The former MP emphasized that his intentions are sincere and rooted in respect, not only for Odo Broni but also for the legacy of the late musician.

He believes he would be a suitable partner if she ever considers remarrying.

In addition, Kojo Adu Asare condemned the recent criticism and insults targeted at Odo Broni amid her public disagreement with Daddy Lumba’s first wife, Akosua Serwaa.

He described the backlash as unwarranted and unfair, urging the public to treat her with compassion and respect during her period of mourning.
