The Greater Accra Regional Police Command has arrested two individuals in connection with a case of unlawful damage to property following a suspected arson incident at Oyarifa Anointed Down in the Greater Accra Region.
According to an official press release issued by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, the suspects have been identified as Jennifer Mae Tomlinson, a Canadian national, and her Ghanaian boyfriend, Mohammed Issah.
The two were arrested on separate dates Mohammed Issah on 23rd December 2025, the day of the incident, and Jennifer Tomlinson on 25th December 2025 after she initially went into hiding.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspects, who were tenants in the affected apartment, allegedly set the property on fire deliberately, causing extensive damage without any apparent provocation. The fire completely destroyed the apartment.
Issah was apprehended by the Ayimensah Abokobi Police shortly after the incident, while Tomlinson was located and arrested from her hideout two days later. Both suspects are currently in police custody and assisting with ongoing investigations.
The Ghana Police Service has confirmed that the individuals will be arraigned before court and charged in accordance with the law.

The police have reiterated their commitment to ensuring justice is served and are urging the public to remain calm as the investigation progresses.
