The management team of award-winning Ghanaian musician Black Sherif has officially responded to circulating reports alleging that the artiste is being dragged to court over unpaid rent.

The reports, which went viral on social media and some news portals, claimed that Black Sherif was owing a substantial amount in rent arrears for a property in Accra, prompting a court action.

In an interview with Class News, a representative from Black Sherif’s management dismissed the reports as false and misleading.

They further explained that the said property is not the personal residence of the musician, as widely speculated.

“That place is not his home. It is an office and recording studio used by the Road Boy Association,” the source added, referring to Black Sherif’s team and brand collective.

Despite the public speculation, Black Sherif himself has not issued a personal statement regarding the matter.

However, his management insists that there is no legal action against him over rent and urged the public to disregard the misinformation.
