A shocking case has emerged from Kwamang in the Ashanti Region, where a man identified as Coffie Agyemang has been arrested for allegedly attempting to sell his own son for ritual purposes.
According to reports, Agyemang, driven by financial difficulties, confided in a friend about his intention to sell his son.
The matter was swiftly reported to the police, who launched an undercover operation to verify the claims.
In a disturbing twist, Agyemang is said to have told the supposed buyers that after they had removed the boy’s vital organs, they should return the body to him in order to avoid suspicion from the community.
This request formed part of his attempt to conceal the crime and maintain a sense of normalcy after the act.
