Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician Esther Smith has made a shocking revelation about a plot to take her life during a recent church event.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on a podcast hosted by a prominent Ghanaian evangelist, the singer disclosed that an unidentified individual approached her with information about a contract allegedly taken out on her life.
According to Esther Smith, the incident occurred during the Alpha Hour program held at the Accra Sports Stadium.
She stated that while she was performing with her team, a man confessed that he had been contacted from Nigeria to carry out an assassination attempt on her.

The man reportedly told her he could not go through with the act and felt compelled to confess instead.
In response to the alarming revelation, Esther Smith noted that she was under the protection of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) during the program.
She expressed gratitude to God for divine protection and to the security personnel who ensured her safety throughout the event.
The gospel star emphasized the importance of staying spiritually alert and encouraged fellow believers to remain prayerful and watchful, especially in times when public figures are increasingly becoming targets for such threats.
