The Adenta Circuit Court has granted bail in the sum of GH₵100,000 to self-styled prophet Ebo Noah, subject to two sureties, one of whom must be justified.

Speaking to the media after proceedings on Thursday, January 15, 2026, counsel for Ebo Noah explained that the court initially required one of the sureties to be justified with landed property.

However, following an appeal by the defence highlighting the practical difficulties involved in securing such property within a short period, the court reviewed the condition.

According to the lawyer, the presiding judge accepted the request and permitted a vehicle to be used as an alternative form of justification in place of landed property.

Counsel also confirmed that the psychiatric report earlier requested by the court—after Ebo Noah was referred to the Pantang Psychiatric Hospital—has since been submitted.

He further indicated that Ebo Noah is scheduled to reappear before the court in the second week of March 2026, when the prosecution is expected to commence case disclosure by presenting all relevant documents and evidence to the defence.

Addressing a viral video circulating on social media in which a woman claimed to be Ebo Noah’s mother, the lawyer dismissed the assertion, describing the individual as an impostor with no familial connection to his client.

He clarified that Ebo Noah’s biological mother is not aware of the video.

The lawyer concluded by calling on media practitioners and social media users to exercise caution and verify information thoroughly before publishing or sharing content, particularly in matters of public interest.
