A tragic road accident at Mampong Abuontem in the Ashanti Region has claimed the lives of three individuals and left at least thirty others injured.

The incident, which occurred in the early hours of the day, involved a head-on collision between a bus belonging to Ejura Agricultural College and a private vehicle.
Eyewitnesses say the accident happened when the private car veered off its lane and crashed directly into the school bus, which was carrying students and staff of the college.

The impact of the collision was devastating, leaving the private vehicle mangled beyond recognition and causing significant damage to the bus.
Emergency services, including the police, fire service, and paramedics, responded swiftly to the scene.

Authorities have confirmed that three people were pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
The identities of the deceased are yet to be officially released, pending notification of their families.
The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into the cause of the accident. Preliminary reports suggest speeding and possible driver error as contributing factors.
