The Ghana Police through their investigation department has released a press statement on arresting four suspects allegedly in connection with the murder of Akwamuhene of Tanoso Traditional Area.
According to the Police, the deceased was destooled as the Akwamuhene of Tanoso Traditional Area but he reportedly rejected the decision and engaged the family in multiple litigations and disputes.
The suspects are currently in the police custody assisting the police in their investigation.

According to several reports, the Akwamuhene of the Tanoso Traditional Area in the Bono East Region whose name has been identified as Nana Owusu Korkor died of a gunshots on November 9, 2025.
It is alleged that the Akwamuhene was shot forty three times in the chest by unknown gunmen following the dispute after he allegedly tried to restore his chieftaincy tittle.
