
Accra High Court fines Agradaa GH¢12,000, orders GH¢50,000 compensation to Pastor Appiah Biblical over defamatory broadcast on live television.
The Accra High Court has delivered a ruling against Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Agradaa, for broadcasting inappropriate and defamatory content about Pastor Appiah Biblical on live television.

The court imposed a GH¢12,000 fine on Agradaa and further ordered her to pay GH¢50,000 in damages to the pastor as compensation for reputational harm.
The ruling comes after Pastor Appiah Biblical filed a lawsuit, accusing Agradaa of using her platform to broadcast unverified and damaging images which portrayed him in a negative light.

The court found that her actions constituted a violation of media ethics and an infringement on the plaintiff’s rights to dignity and reputation.
Speaking to the media after the judgment, the legal team of Pastor Appiah Biblical expressed satisfaction with the ruling, noting it as a victory for responsible broadcasting and a warning to media personalities who misuse their platforms to defame others.
