Nearly 900 female students of the Northern School of Business have been displaced following a fire outbreak that destroyed the school’s girls’ dormitory earlier today.
The incident, which occurred in the early hours, caused extensive damage to the facility and left students without accommodation.
Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were recorded, as all occupants were safely evacuated before the fire spread.

However, the blaze consumed beds, books, school uniforms, mattresses, and other personal belongings, leaving many students with nothing but the clothes they were wearing at the time.
Fire officers responded to the scene and managed to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading to nearby structures.
The cause of the outbreak is yet to be officially determined, and investigations have been launched to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
School authorities have since made temporary arrangements to accommodate the affected students while efforts are underway to assess the full extent of the damage.
They have also appealed for support from government agencies, old students, and the general public to assist with relief items and rebuilding efforts.
