A fuel tanker has overturned on the Nsawam Road near Panpaso, triggering a tense and potentially dangerous situation as a large crowd gathered at the scene.
The accident, which occurred in the early hours of the day, disrupted traffic and heightened fears of a possible fire or explosion.
Eyewitnesses reported that shortly after the tanker fell, some residents rushed to the area with containers in an attempt to siphon fuel spilling from the vehicle.

This risky behavior persisted despite the obvious dangers associated with fuel leakage, including the threat of ignition from a spark, open flame, or passing vehicles.
Security personnel and emergency responders were later deployed to the scene to control the crowd, secure the area, and prevent further fuel scooping.
Fire service officials worked to reduce the risk of an explosion, while police redirected traffic to ease congestion and ensure public safety.
No fatalities have been officially confirmed, though the condition of the tanker driver remains unclear as investigations continue.
Authorities have once again warned the public against approaching accident scenes involving fuel tankers, stressing that such incidents have, in the past, resulted in tragic loss of lives.
