The exercise forms part of strategic security preparations aimed at boosting operational readiness and reassuring the public of the country’s preparedness to maintain peace and stability, especially during the festive season.
According to the release, the Show of Force Exercise will also help deter criminal activity, promote inter-agency coordination, and demonstrate Ghana’s robust national security posture to counter emerging threats.
The Ghana Armed Forces advises the public that the exercise is routine and may result in increased security presence and temporary traffic delays in parts of Greater Accra and its environs.
However, the public is encouraged to continue with their normal activities without fear.
