Goldbod, officially known as the Ghana Gold Board, has announced a remarkable financial milestone, recording a profit of over GH¢960 million for the 2025 fiscal year.
The announcement was made by Goldbod CEO, Sammy Gyamfi, on January 3, 2026. According to Mr. Gyamfi, the impressive profit reflects the board’s strategic reforms, enhanced oversight of gold trading activities, and a renewed focus on maximizing value from Ghana’s gold resources.
He highlighted that Goldbod’s performance was driven by increased transparency, the formalization of gold trading processes, and efficient revenue management within the sector.
