Popular Ghanaian skit maker Dr. Likee has clarified comments about his possible retirement from comedy, revealing that an unexpected encounter with former President John Dramani Mahama inspired him to continue his craft.
In a recent interview on Showbiz on TV3, Dr. Likee addressed speculation that he was preparing to quit skit-making.
He explained that although he had considered stepping away, a meeting with the former president at Prempeh International Airport shifted his perspective.

According to the comedian, President Mahama told him that he regularly watches his skits and encouraged him to keep going.

The entertainer noted that the president’s words strengthened his resolve to produce more content and remain committed to the industry.
He expressed gratitude for the support and emphasized his dedication to entertaining Ghanaians.
