Social media commentator Showboy has weighed in on the ongoing dispute involving Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Arthur and his former management, Ground Up.
In a Snapchat post, Showboy stated that the relationship between Kwesi Arthur and Glen was strictly a business partnership, reportedly based on a 50/50 ownership agreement.
According to him, both parties jointly built the Ground Up brand, with Glen playing a key role in supporting and promoting the artist during his early career.

Showboy argued that disputes over ownership and revenue are common in the music industry, especially as artists grow and seek full control of their work.
He maintained that if Kwesi Arthur now desires 100 percent ownership, the appropriate step would be to negotiate and compensate his business partner, rather than escalate the matter publicly.
He further cautioned that public statements could damage reputations, emphasizing that business disagreements should be handled privately and professionally.

In his view, negotiation—not emotional conflict—remains the best path forward, reiterating that, ultimately, “business is business.”
