North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has issued a strong warning regarding the safety of North Korean citizens currently in Iran, declaring that their safe return is “not negotiable.”
According to reports, the North Korean leader cautioned that any harm to his nationals could prompt Pyongyang to intervene directly in the ongoing regional conflict.
In his statement, Kim emphasized that the protection of North Korean citizens abroad remains a priority for his government. He warned that if even one of them is harmed, North Korea would consider entering the conflict without hesitation.

The remarks have raised concerns among international observers, as North Korea is a nuclear-armed state whose involvement could significantly escalate tensions.
The warning comes at a time when geopolitical tensions in the Middle East are already high.
Analysts say the situation has been further complicated by recent remarks from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who reportedly described Iran as “50 North Koreas,” a statement seen by some observers as highlighting the deep ideological divide between the parties involved.
Meanwhile, the broader regional situation remains volatile. Reports indicate that several countries are reassessing their positions as the conflict continues to evolve.
Energy concerns have also emerged, with Qatar reportedly declaring a state of emergency and temporarily halting gas production, raising fears of wider economic repercussions.
Military developments have also intensified tensions, including reports of damage to Iranian naval assets during recent confrontations.
At the same time, political divisions within the United States have become evident, with Congress reportedly voting to limit further military strikes while the Pentagon seeks additional funding to cover equipment losses and operational costs.
