A lady has been arrested by the police after allegedly conspiring with her boyfriend to rob a Tap and Go taxi driver in a disturbing incident that has sparked public concern.
According to preliminary reports, the lady and her partner posed as ordinary passengers and booked a taxi ride under the pretense of reaching a destination.
However, their true intent was to ambush the driver and rob him of his money and valuables.

The attempted robbery reportedly took place mid-journey, but their plan quickly unraveled.
In the heat of the moment, the male suspect, believed to be the mastermind behind the attack, managed to flee the scene, abandoning his girlfriend in the process.
She was subsequently apprehended by law enforcement officers and is currently in custody assisting with investigations.
Authorities have confirmed that efforts are underway to track down the fleeing suspect and bring him to justice. Meanwhile, the victim — the taxi driver — is said to have escaped serious harm and is cooperating with the police.
The incident has raised renewed concerns about the safety of ride-hailing drivers and the growing trend of planned attacks under the guise of genuine bookings.
