A scheduled examination at the University of Calabar was abruptly cancelled after a lecturer mistakenly distributed exam papers that contained both the questions and their corresponding answers.
According to reports circulating on campus, the lecturer had unknowingly printed and handed out a document that included the full set of answers alongside the questions.
Many students reportedly noticed the error but continued writing the exam without raising any concerns.

However, the situation took an unexpected turn when one student—described by peers as a born-again Christian—approached the lecturer to point out the mistake.
She reportedly explained that she felt compelled to speak up because, in her words, “the Holy Spirit would not allow her to keep quiet.”
Upon verifying the issue, the lecturer immediately halted the examination and cancelled it, explaining that the integrity of the test had been compromised.
The incident quickly sparked mixed reactions among students.
While some students commended the student for choosing honesty and integrity over personal gain, others expressed frustration, arguing that the exam could have proceeded since the mistake had already occurred.
Tensions reportedly rose on campus, with some students openly criticizing her decision.
University authorities are expected to reschedule the examination to ensure fairness for all candidates.
