Man allegedly commits suicide amid marital challenges in Ablekuma after trying several days to find peace.

A man believed to be a member of the Ghana Drunkards Association has allegedly taken his own life in Ablekuma Olebu, located in the Anyaa-Sowutuom Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

According to sources close to the deceased, the President of the Ghana Drunkards Association, Moses Drybone, confirmed the tragic incident and noted that the man had been battling serious marital issues.

These personal challenges had reportedly forced him to leave his home in search of peace and solace among friends.

Mr. Drybone explained that after several days without any sightings of the man, concern grew among acquaintances. Eventually, he was discovered lifeless in his room, hanging from the ceiling with a sponge.

By the time of discovery, his body had begun to decompose, intensifying the distress of those who found him. The Ghana Police Service was immediately notified and responded to the scene.

The remains have since been retrieved and deposited at the morgue for preservation and further examination as investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death continue.
