A disturbing incident has emerged from Sefwi, where a man known by locals as “Frenchman” is alleged to have set his house on fire following a domestic misunderstanding with his wife.

A viral video circulating on social media shows the aftermath of the incident, with the building reduced to rubble and charred remains.

According to reports from eyewitnesses, the tragic event was preceded by a disagreement between Frenchman and his wife.

Following the altercation, the woman and children reportedly left the house to sleep elsewhere, leaving the man alone in the building.

Later that night, the house was engulfed in flames, destroying the entire structure along with all belongings inside. Although no lives were lost in the blaze, the emotional and financial toll on the family is devastating.

Local authorities have launched an investigation into the matter. Community members are calling for swift justice if the allegations against the man are confirmed.
