Man Butchers Wife to Death for Allegedly Denying Him sex

A quiet farming community in the Juaboso District of Ghana’s Western North Region has been left in a state of shock and mourning following the tragic death of a 31-year-old woman, allegedly murdered by her husband during a domestic altercation.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Sefwi Saa Kwasikrom, a village situated along the Bonsu Nkwanta–Nkyesenkokoo stretch. According to police reports, the suspect, identified as 40-year-old Christopher Kabore, is believed to have attacked and fatally assaulted his wife, Nadeye Kasore, following a heated argument reportedly linked to accusations of marital denial.

Residents say the couple had been experiencing ongoing marital tension, but the situation took a devastating turn when the disagreement allegedly escalated into physical violence.

Community members who arrived at the scene were horrified to find the woman unresponsive. She was later confirmed dead.

The suspect was apprehended by local authorities shortly after the incident and is currently in police custody assisting with investigations.

Police say a full investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the altercation and circumstances leading to the woman’s death. Her body has been deposited at a nearby hospital morgue for autopsy.

Community leaders have condemned the act and called for calm as law enforcement agencies pursue justice.
