A disturbing incident in Dunkwa has left one man dead following a clash that allegedly began with an invasion of personal space.
The deceased, identified as Godwin Agelooro, was found lifeless by the roadside in the early hours of Monday, January 5, 2026, with visible injuries believed to have been sustained during a renewed altercation.
According to Samuel Akazine, the brother of the deceased who spoke to Adom News, the incident began when a woman reportedly touched Mr. Agelooro’s dreadlocks without his consent.

When he questioned her actions, a man believed to be the woman’s boyfriend intervened, leading to a heated verbal exchange that quickly escalated into a physical fight.
The initial altercation was eventually brought under control, with the parties dispersing. However, Mr. Akazine stated that his brother later returned to the area, where a second confrontation reportedly occurred.
Godwin Agelooro was later discovered unresponsive by the roadside. His body has since been deposited at the Dunkwa Government Hospital mortuary for preservation and further examination.

The Ghana Police Service has confirmed that no arrests have been made yet, and investigations are ongoing to uncover the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
