Residents of a local community were left in shock following an incident involving a tenant who was allegedly accused of impregnating both his landlord’s wife and daughter, leading to heightened tension and his eventual eviction.
According to reports, the tenant, identified as Richard, is an Okada rider who had been living in the same house as his landlord, Mr. Nyauta, a teacher.
Richard was reportedly responsible for transporting the landlord’s wife to town on a daily basis, an arrangement said to have been agreed upon by the landlord, who often returned home late due to work commitments.

Mr. Nyauta and his wife have been married for 20 years and share three children together.
Neighbours disclosed that about a week prior to the incident, a serious disagreement occurred between the landlord’s wife and their eldest daughter inside Richard’s room.
Following the altercation, tension reportedly grew between the mother and daughter, though Mr. Nyauta was said to be unaware of the situation at the time.
The situation escalated when, months later, the landlord’s daughter reportedly informed her mother that she had missed her menstrual period. After checking, it was allegedly discovered that the daughter was two months pregnant. She reportedly claimed that Richard was responsible for the pregnancy.
Reports further indicate that the landlord’s wife was also allegedly pregnant, said to be about three months along.
According to sources, Mr. Nyauta became aware of the situation after a pharmacist—described as a friend of his—alerted him that his wife had purchased abortion medication.
Following repeated confrontations, the wife reportedly confessed to her husband that both she and their daughter were expecting children allegedly fathered by the tenant.
The revelation reportedly left the landlord in shock and led to a heated confrontation.
Neighbours and other tenants intervened to prevent the situation from escalating into violence.
As a result, Richard was immediately evicted from the premises.
The landlord’s wife was also asked to leave the house. Although the couple is reportedly separated, no official divorce has been confirmed. The daughter remains in the care of her father.
Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the matter has been reported for formal investigation.
