Police Arrest Suspect in Robbery at Juaso Forestry Office others on manhunt.
The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested one suspect, Prince Agyapong, in connection with a robbery incident at the Juaso District Forestry Services Division, which occurred on Monday, December 1, 2025.

According to preliminary investigations, a group of approximately thirty men, armed with knives and other dangerous weapons, attacked the Forestry premises while the Forestry Rapid Response Team was out on monitoring duties.
The group, allegedly led by Agyapong, forced staff members to surrender their mobile phones and went on to ransack multiple offices.

Items stolen during the attack included two chainsaw machines, a tricycle, two KIA trucks, and GH¢9,000 in cash, which belonged to one of the staff members.
A swift response by law enforcement led to the arrest of Prince Agyapong and the recovery of the two KIA trucks, which have since been taken to the Juaso District Police Headquarters as part of ongoing investigations. However, the remaining suspects managed to flee the scene and are currently at large.
Agyapong has been arraigned before the Agogo District Court on a provisional charge of robbery and has been remanded into police custody. He is expected to reappear in court on December 15, 2025.
Police say efforts are underway to apprehend the other suspects and recover the rest of the stolen items. The public is encouraged to provide any relevant information that could aid the investigation.
