The Ghana Police Service has arrested three individuals in connection with a disturbing viral video that captured a two-year-old child being fed an alcoholic beverage.
The incident reportedly occurred at Kade in the Eastern Region and sparked widespread public outrage.
According to an official press release issued by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on December 20, 2025, the suspects identified as Tawiah Precious, alias T’ Moni (18), Emmanuel Dadzie, alias Shapiro (24), and Stephen Amoako (22), the father of the child were apprehended by the Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team at Okuman, a suburb of Kade.
The arrests were the result of a sustained intelligence-led operation.

The two-year-old victim has since been rescued and placed in the care of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) at Asamankese. Authorities stated that arrangements are being made to reunite the child with the mother.
All three suspects are currently in police custody and are expected to be arraigned before the court. Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies are actively pursuing two additional suspects Afram Bright, alias Mogabe, and another identified as Panyin who are currently on the run.
Chief Inspector Brigitte Babanawo, Public Relations Officer of the CID, emphasized in the statement that the Ghana Police Service remains firmly committed to the protection of children and will continue to pursue all persons involved in the abuse and endangerment of minors.

The police have urged the public to assist with information that may lead to the arrest of the remaining suspects.
