Authorities at Breman Asikuma Senior High School in the Central Region have expelled two students following the circulation of a video depicting inappropriate conduct between them.
The incident, which quickly went viral among students on campus, has sparked concern over student discipline and moral standards in educational institutions.
According to school officials, the video — reportedly recorded on school grounds — was brought to the attention of the administration earlier this week.

After preliminary investigations and identification of the students involved, the school’s disciplinary committee took swift action, resulting in their immediate expulsion.
School management described the act as a serious breach of the school’s code of conduct and said the decision to expel the students was made to preserve discipline and deter similar behaviour among the student body.
A statement from the school reads in part: “Breman Asikuma SHS is committed to upholding high moral and academic standards. Any conduct that undermines these values will be met with appropriate disciplinary action.”
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has yet to officially comment on the development.
However, the incident has reignited public discourse on student discipline, the role of guidance and counselling in schools, and the growing influence of social media on youth behaviour.

Parents, teachers, and educational stakeholders have been urged to intensify moral education and mentorship to help students make better decisions both in and out of school.
