A serious road accident occurred at Ofankor in the Greater Accra Region involving a private vehicle that reportedly veered off its designated lane, resulting in a major collision.
According to eyewitness accounts, the incident took place in the early hours of the day when a private car lost control and swerved into the opposite lane, crashing into another vehicle.
The impact caused significant damage to both vehicles, with the front of one car severely mangled.
Emergency responders and personnel from the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service quickly arrived at the scene to manage traffic and assess the situation.

Fortunately, despite the severity of the crash, no fatalities were recorded.
The occupants of the vehicles sustained only minor injuries and were promptly transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
