Several Wooden Structures Burnt to Ashes at La Olympia
A fierce fire outbreak has gutted several wooden structures at La Olympia, near the Community Bank in Accra, plunging the community into chaos as emergency responders rush to contain the flames.

The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Thursday, drew the immediate attention of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), which swiftly deployed personnel and fire engines to the scene.
Due to the intensity of the blaze and the flammable nature of the affected structures, two additional fire tenders from the Military Fire Unit and Parliament Fire Station were dispatched to assist in firefighting efforts.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing thick plumes of smoke and large flames engulfing the area as residents fled for safety.

Firefighters have since been working tirelessly to bring the situation under control and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby buildings and properties.
At the time of reporting, no casualties had been confirmed, and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.
The GNFS has urged the public to adhere strictly to fire safety measures, particularly in densely populated and fire-prone communities.
