Student Battles for His Life as Rival Slashes His Back with a Machete

A student of Koforidua Senior High Technical School, identified as Jerome Appiah, is battling for his life after sustaining serious machete wounds in an alleged attack by a rival student.

According to reports, the incident followed tensions that reportedly arose after a clash between two schools during a recent sporting event.

Jerome is said to have been attacked unexpectedly while eating on his way to school. He sustained a deep cut to the shoulder and was rushed for medical treatment, where he remains under close observation.

Eyewitness accounts indicate that the assailant, believed to be a student of New Juaben Senior High School, fled the scene with accomplices immediately after the attack.
