Terrorists Attack Christ Apostolic Church During Live-Streamed Service, Killing 3 and Abducting Several

In a shocking and tragic incident, a group of armed terrorists attacked a branch of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku, situated in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, Nigeria.

The assault occurred during a live-streamed church service, leaving three worshippers dead and several others abducted.

Eyewitnesses and local sources report that the attackers stormed the church premises while the service was ongoing, causing chaos and panic among the congregation.

The gunmen opened fire indiscriminately, fatally shooting three members of the church. Several others, including men and women, were reportedly taken hostage and led away into the nearby bushes.

The attackers are believed to have escaped through remote bush paths, evading immediate capture.

The motive behind the attack remains unknown, but the method and brutality are consistent with recent patterns of insecurity linked to terrorist and bandit activities across parts of northern and central Nigeria.
